Elecro Plate Heat Exchangers are a cost-effective heat management solution. Whether for heating or cooling their efficient operation saves energy, reducing costs and minimising environmental impact.
 
Plate heat exchangers work by allowing the recovered thermal energy contained within one fluid to be transferred to another. By bringing the two different temperature fluids close together, only separated by corrosion resistant metal plates, one fluid either heats or cools the other.
 
A gasket on each plate prevents the two fluids from coming into contact with one another. The surface of these plates is pressed with Elecro’s own herringbone pattern, creating a larger surface area with guided flow path, producing maximum levels of thermal efficiency.
 
Elecro Plate Heat Exchangers comprise an epoxy coated steel frame, consisting of one removable and one fixed cover, fitted with top and bottom plate hangers.
 
The fluid connections are heavy gauge, stainless steel, male threaded nozzle connections welded into the front cover. Alternatively, flanged connections are available on request.
