Elecro team raised money for local hospital

Last weekend we were asked by the local NHS to take part in a charity Tournament called ‘It’s a knockout,’ coordinated to raise money in order to make the Lister Hospital more dementia friendly; not only a great cause, but also a good reason to have some fun and games in the sunshine!

The charity tournament took place on Saturday 12th September in Stevenage, UK and 12 local teams took part including doctors, firemen and local shop staff to name but a few. As part of the entry requirement was to complete the event in fancy dress, we thought it made sense to pay tribute to the swimming pool industry and dress up as lifeguards!

The day consisted mostly of team building activities such as inflatable obstacle courses, a water activity that involved crawling through a tunnel to score points at the other end in lots of water and bubbles, and not to mention wellington boots nailed to a plank of wood, in which team members had to work together to get across the grass.
And of course we would like to say a massive thank you to all of those that sponsored us, and well done to the Elecro individuals who took part dressed as lovely lifeguards to raise money for the local hospital. Overall the day was enjoyable for all teams, families and friends who came to support the Charity.

Below are some pictures of the day.
